Our ALiM sessions have now been underway for several weeks. We have three groups of Year 5 learners who are working to lift their mathematical thinking especially around multiplication and number knowledge.
We are having successes in our learning and our students are all eager to participate in their ALiM sessions. Teachers are providing a range of activities to promote learning. A popular game has been Target Ball which has helped with learning the 6x tables and with adding.
Week 9 Term 1
This year we are entering our second year of ALIM.
As with last year learning in ALiM is designed to help lift and accelerate understanding in Maths for targeted learners.
Sessions will be four times a week with a teacher, in a small group context.
